About Beenie Man
Born Anthony Moses Davis in 1973 in the Waterhouse district of Kingston, Jamaica, Beenie Man has been on the dancehall scene since childhood. At the early age of 10, in 1983 Beenie Man was recorded on Junjo Presents Two Big Sounds live alongside many big DJs of that era including Dillinger and Fathead. In 1984 he recorded "Under Mi Sensi" and "Two Sounds" with the legendary Barrington Levy. Beenie has recorded with the best of them including King Jammy, Niney The Observer, Sly and Robbie, Don Corleon, Janet Jackson, Neptunes, Lil’ Kim, and many more.
