Luciano’s latest CD entitled "Revelation Time" has hit the store shelves, and it is once again setting the standard for Rastafari inspired reggae music. "Luci"( say Lou chee) as his fans call him, have come to expect no less from this ever talented roots messenger. In his first track, featuring Triston Palma as a guest singer, Luciano stays true to his Rasta beliefs and attests to the importance of the sacramental herb given to man by the lord God, Jah Rastafari. The first track "Mr. Minister Please", Luciano and Triston sing "why mankind disturb with them chemical invention, and them come with coke and crack to destroy the nation" Reality Lyrics, seen. The third track "Freedom Fighters" brings our attention to the great freedom fighters of yesterday and today, hailing up such great leaders as Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and Marcus Garvey, along with great freedom fighters of Jamaica, Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Garnett Silk. Not to mention current warriors in Jah Army, Mikey General, Tony Rebel and Louie Culture. There are many familiar riddims found on "Revelation Time", such as the soulful "No Matter", which is on the Mighty Diamonds’ original, "I need A Roof" riddim. A new anthem is born in "Warning"on the popular Golden Hen riddim. "All this senseless killing Jah Jah know not right" , "The almighty God is not sleeping" Heed Jah Messenger’s "Warning" and live up, live right in Jah sight. His earnest instructions are very timely in these perilous times. The Album’s title track "Revelation Time" Luciano declares "it’s a shame and disgrace what has happened to the human race" "Mankind has gone astray" It is time to recognize the signs Jah has shown us in this judgement time , and Luciano makes them known in this song. This album with is largely produced by Triston Palma and Nigel Burrel, with some tracks being produced by Anthony Faircloth as well. Released on the Jet Star label, this new CD is sure to please fans of Luciano’s timeless music. The tracks are well arranged and produced with competence. The last track of the album titled Gods Love features Beres Hammond, Marcia Griffiths, Triston Palma, Delly Ranks Courtney Melody and Mitchigan. It has a reverent, spiritual energy, and blends the singing styles of all of these talentaed individuals in one inity.
