With Sumfest behind cultural artiste I-Octane couldnt be happier about his reception there on dancehall night. The cultural singer related that he was happy with the way the crowd reaction to his performance. His one regret though, is that the capacity crowd wasnt there yet, but that was more than made up for by the fact that the minute he left the stage, the local and international media embraced him.
It was really an experience. Sumfest is the greatest reggae show on earth and to be embrace thereits really something for me, I-Octane said.
Among the tracks that I-Octane unleashed on the crowd were Poverty, Nuh Frighten We, Run Yet and Different Page.
When I-Octane drew for Different Page, even he was surprised by how popular the song was, as evidence by the way the crowd really got into it by singing along with him.
Looking ahead I-Octane has now left for Canada where he will be sharing the stage with George Nooks and other local acts. He will return home in time for Champions In Actions which will be held at the Jamworld Entertainment Centre on August 16, after that Octane will head for Holland for the Sundance Festival.
