THE LISTENING PARTY #29 features and exclusive interview with C-Sharp this Sunday on BigUpRadio.com. A number of Jamaican reggae bands are getting attention these days. Its a group that now includes Roots Underground, Nomaddz, C Sharp, Blueprint, Raging Fyah and Dub Tonic Kru, to name just a few. Enough at least to support an annual battle of the bands for the past few years. Blueprint is the most recent winner. Jamaica's winner in 2010, Dub Tonic, eventually went on to win the international competition. Today on The Listening Party Raging Fyah's bass player, Pele, and members of C-Sharp are on the program. And an elder in the business who has been active behind the scenes, Ibo Cooper, former member of Third World and current director of the department of Popular Music at Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, also has his say.
Tune into The Listening Party featuring C-Sharp and more this Sunday, January 27, 2013 on BigUpRadio's Dancehall station.
The Listening Party showtimes are 5am, 11am, 5pm and 11pm Eastern Standard Time.
