Jamaican artist Names M is launching his new website www.namesm.com to create a central hub for music, news and information to share with his fans.
The website will list show dates and stream his music videos, such as “Where They At” featuring D’Angel, which has recently been nominated for a CariVibez Video Award in the “Best International Video” category. Names M says he feels “very humbled to be nominated alongside superstars like Sean Paul”
The music of Names M will of course also be available on the website and the artiste is gearing up to release his brand new single “New World Order” end of this month.
Names M says he also created the website as “he felt the truly artistic nature of the work deserved the best chance it could have at exposure, without being hampered by economical or geographical constraints.”
Every inch of the website is designed as “an extension of Names M’s personality, tastes and opinions.” Fans can furthermore expect press clippings, messages from the artiste himself as well as his takes on current affairs. Fans can chat and connect with each other and with the artiste and it will be linked to Facebook and Twitter to keep up with trends in social networking.
Names M and his team take business as well as the personal swag of the artiste very serious so what would the website be without Names M merchandise and some personal style tips from the artiste himself! The site will offer dozens of shirts in different styles as well as laptop skins, water bottles and pajamas amongst other items. Names M elaborates: “The store is treated as reactionary to the market, so if we get a request for an item, we will certainly make it available.”
Overall Names M’s focus is on opportunity creation without geographical and financial limitations and the artiste promises that there is much more to come and many ideas will manifest into new projects very soon.
The management team and Names M hope the website will be informative and fun to all the fans and he would like to remind everyone to please keep voting for “Where They At” in the CariVibez Video Awards!
