For Immediate Release: (Los Angeles, CA) – The 11th Annual Caribbean Sea Breeze Festival has moved from the Queen Mary Events Park with a new location and date to Veterans Memorial Stadium (on the Long Beach City College campus) 4901 Carson Street (near Lakewood Blvd.) in Long Beach, California and date set for Saturday, August 9, 2008, from 12pm to 10pm. This year’s line up features the exclusive So. California appearances by international Reggae superstars Sizzla and the return of Bad Boy recording artist, “The Energy God” Elephant Man, who was true phenomenon at last year’s sell-out event. Other internationally renown music artists from Jamaica and the Caribbean include Turbulence, Everton Blender, Sweet Tea, Black Judah, E-Dee, Bella Carib Cultural Dance Troupe, MCs Junor Francis (KXLU/KSPC), & Chuck Foster (KPFK) and more filling out the festival’s entertainment schedule.
Fun activities for the whole family will take place including give‑aways and gate prizes. Families are encouraged to come out for the day of music and culture. A variety Caribbean food and drinks will be on sale, plus an international cultural arts craft fair and fun-filled children’s activity area.
