
RDX arrived in Tokoyo, Japan at 1:30 pm Monday, July 28th in time for their debut performance on R-Festa a major event organized by the most popular HIP HOP / REGGAE TV program “RYUHA-R”(11nation wide). R-Festa is important for making a buzz in Japan as RYUHA-R has featured many international reggae acts in the past… like Shaggy, Sean Paul and T.O.K. and have picked up Che’nelle and Sean Kingston last year. R-Fest was held at the Ageha Night Club in Tokoyo. The event was broadcasted live on the internet as well as Japanese national radio, with a delayed broadcast to 11 Nations in Aisa. An appearance on R-Festa usually influences sales of albums & ring tone in Japan. RDX short trip to Japan is to attend the launch of their debut album entitled ‘RDX to the world” scheduled for released tentatively on August 6th and will feature 14 tracks plus a bonus track.
The Duo will also be sitting in on two photo shoots for popular Japanese Magazines Woofin and Riddim respectively and will be making appearances at the Shinkiba Ageha Night Club on Thursday July 31 and Fever Night Club on August 1st in Tokoyo. RDX current single “Everybody Dance” also featured on the album, is one of the most popular dancehall tracks in Japan, the ring tone for this track was released last week and now stands at number 3 this week out of 100, the video which was uploaded on youtube in November of 2007 has received over 325,000 views to date, “RDX TO THE WORL“………
