This year's 420 Extravaganja is especially significant because the people here in Colorado voted to implement Amendment 64, which allows all adults 21 years of age or older to legally possess up to one ounce of marijuana and to legally consume marijuana at private venues and events.
This means a couple different things for us:
1. This year's 420 Extravaganja will be the first legal 4/20 event in America! Prohibition will only end once and this is your chance to be a part of American cultural history.
2. This year's event will be a private event that constitutes the gathering of a private club that accepts any member over 21 years of age. Your ticket purchase includes your membership dues to this private club. You will receive your membership card at the event venue.
Incredibowl's 420 Extravaganja will be the premiere event bringing together world-class musical and artistic talent with a Who's Who of the marijuana world.
Our venue, HoodLAB, earned the spotlight when Colorado's first legal recreational marijuana club met there in January, appearing in national and international online and print media. HoodLAB is the brain child of Adam Dunn (THSeeds, Hemp Hoodlambclothing), called by CNN Money the "Hemp Kingpin".
Extravaganja's title sponsor, Incredibowl Industries, is a Colorado-based company that has been turning heads in the global marijuana scene since 2009. Quickly becoming the most successful consumer brand in High Times Cannabis Cup history by winning 13 Cannabis Cups in their four years, Incredibowl is recognized as an established symbol of cutting edge quality.
This will be Incredibowl's third year producing the 420 Extravaganja. Previous events have included performances by Luckyiam of Living Legends, Sapient, Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, Reggie Watts and Barrington Levy. The 2012 Extravaganja was regarded as "the best 4/20 weekend event in Denver."
