Tasha Rozez, The Large and ZJ Elektra aren’t finished with the season just yet. ZJ ELEKTRA
In Jamaica, where it really is an endless summer, the vibes change without a moments notice. Here Elektra showcases dancehall’s current love for synthy party anthems from artist/producer Teetimus, Mr Vegas and Liquid and puts the ‘dance’ back into dancehall with dancers turned artists Ding Dong and Chi Ching as well as dance-floor tastemakers du jour RDX and Tommy Lee enjoying their time in the sun.

Tasha Rozez, founder of Gunz N Rozez sound system in Toronto, Canada, came to the entertainment business through the heated atmosphere of the sound clash business. Rozez shows she’s ready to party hard armed with summer selections from Cham, Popcaan and Mavado. Still, her hardcore credentials are clearly intact with crucial contributions from Bounty Killer, Aidonia and even an exclusive by Konshens.

“This mix is all about summer vibes, making sure to represent for the UK sound along the way.” So says The Large. Starting with UK dancehall trendsetter Stylo G, to lyricist Gappy Ranks and an appearance from the UK’s raving kings, Toddla T and Cass Lowe, to Jamaican hit-makers Mr Vegas, Konshens and Popcaan, not to mention a well placed Machel Montano, all we know is that the summer vibe in the UK sounds great.
