In early 2011, producer / songwriter PurplehayzZz released the riddim driven project the Caicos Gal Riddim, rightly named after his island paradise homeland, Turks & Caicos, under his Fire Beats Records imprint.

The new, ‘live’ played riddim has a strong ‘Lovers Rock’ feel and thus it’s obvious that almost every artist who has voiced the riddim delivers a cut that deals with matters of the heart. Besides the very talented and much anticipated singer Junior X, the already well-established Lutan Fyah and Natty King, and top-a-top Jamaican artist Sizzla, this set also features respected veterans Jimmy Riley and Half Pint.

Caicos Gal was recorded at one of the most on-demand studios in Jamaica, The Mixing Lab under the creative direction of music producer Roy Francis. The gorgeous lovers rock flow was mixed by Grammyaward winning audio engineer, Stephen Stanley.
